Acxiom believes that a consumer-friendly, robust, consumer access web portal that not only allows consumers to understand the data that Acxiom has about them, but which also allows consumers to opt-out of our marketing products or delete the personal information Acxiom has collected about them, is an integral part of our business. Acxiom is in the process of building a new consumer access portal to afford consumers, nationwide, with those opportunities. The new portal will also be designed to meet the requirements of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) which takes effect January 1, 2020. Acxiom has long offered consumers the opportunity to opt out of its marketing products.
